Trainer and Assessor
Lee joined Marilee in 2011 firstly as an assistant gaining experience, he then completed the Instructors and assessors Courses in early 2013. He also holds the Level 3 Award in Education and Training in line with current HSE requirements.
Lee's first Aid experiences began when he served as a States of Jersey Police Officer between 1998 and 2010 and during this time he gained vast experience in incident management and risk assessment.
He has over 20 years experience in the Building industry and has a good up to date knowledge of the local construction regulations and training required. Having spent 4 years as a Site and Health and Safety Manager for the States of Jersey Lee has now moved to a full time post with 4 Safety as an instructor.
Lee is a Voluntary First Responder with the States of Jersey Ambulance Service and is a Medic with Normandy Rescue.
Both of these roles as a Medic require Lee to attend regular training and updates to maintain his skills.
Nakita has joined the team as an assistant. Qualified at Highlands College as a Level 3 Healthcare Assistant Nakita currently
works at the General Hospital. She has gained good experience working with the elderly within care homes and carried out First Aid training from a
young age and holds certification in First Aid at Work, AED and Paediatric. Nakita is one of the Basic Life Support cascade trainers at the General Hospital.
Lead Trainer and Assessor
Marilee started First Response Jersey in 2006 after qualifing as an Instructor and assessor with a.i.d Training in Warminster.
In 2015 she gained the Level 3 Award in Education and Training in line with the current HSE requirements for Instructors and Assessors of First Aid qualifications.
Previously working as a Dental Nurse and in medical practice for ten years she gained experience in patient care and daily contact with a variety of medical conditions.
Marilee also served in the British Army (Royal Engineers) (TA) where she underwent training in Battlefield First Aid and Casualty Evacuation.
For the past 16 years, she has worked as part of the Exercise Referral team specialising in Cardiac Rehabilitation and a wide variety of Medical conditions.
Other qualifications include - Heart Start Instructor for the British Heart Foundation - Royal College of Nursing Allergywise trainer in the treatment of Anaphylaxis and use of auto injectors.
Marilee is a Voluntary First Responder with the States of Jersey Ambulance Service and is a member of Normandy Rescue.
