We are able to offer the HSE approved Emergency First Aid at Work course. This particular course has been adapted to suit those who work in Care Homes and in private Home Care and is in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.

Course description

The course is run over one day or two split sessions and includes both theory and practical sessions, in a relaxed atmosphere, designed to boost a candidate’s confidence and gain skills in general First Aid.

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.

Course content can be adapted to suit your needs.

Under the current guidelines it is “strongly recommend” that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months, before completing full re-qualification training at the three year point.
